After seeing the movie The Revenant, I was inspired to illustrate what I thought was one of the most dramatic scenes in the movie. This concept depict the lead character Hugh Glass (Leonardo DiCaprio) and a grizzly bear facing off, in a fierce battle of man vs. wild. The final product makes one question what truly defines a wild animal - man or animal? Upon finishing the illustration I worked with Half & Half print shop to create this piece into a 7-color screen print measured at 18” x 24”.
