Thank You!

What a nice surprise from the university I graduated from Francis Marion University. This award was an honor, but I have a hard time accepting anything without acknowledging the incredible mentors, friends, colleagues, and loved ones who’ve been there with me throughout this whole journey. My design professors from the visual communications department ( Charles Jeffcoat and Gregory Fry ) coached me through the fundamentals. Showed me the paths to pursue. That compounded with my loved ones who supported me through the highs and lows, even the unknowns. My journey isn’t blazed alone. I only wanted to share this to acknowledge it takes a village, and I’m thankful for every bit of it. My brother and my mom were able to go to the ceremony last week back in SC to accept this award on my behalf. Which was special 🥺. And I wouldn’t be able to create all the things I make today without these people and the constant support of my muse Ali Thomas. I'm honestly I’m just happy and fortunate that I get to create things for a living. That really has been the dream! It’s taken so much time and work to get this far, but we have sooooooo much more work ahead of us. But for now, thank you for all the support and love. 🙏
